As a songwriter, Michael spent years experimenting with as many genres as he now covers. Over time he began to hone these influences into an energetic, highly personal, acoustic-rock sound. Fans often describe his playing as authentic, fun, varied, and filled with unexpected turns that create room for wisdom and depth.
Michael’s goal is to resonate with people from all walks of life, sharing his music in places that bring people together and enrich the community. To this end, he regularly performs in locally owned food and beverage establishments, retirement facilities, churches, schools, and private living room concerts.
